I’ve had the privilege of working closely with the leadership team of an organization that’s been committed to building a culture of coaching and connection. That work isn’t just theoretical. September offers us a natural reset. Just like changing leaves signal a new season, we can look at our teams, our challenges, our opportunities with fresh eyes. For Katie Pierce, leadership coaching came at just the right time. As settlement supervisor, she oversees a team of 10 staff supporting newcomer clients through case management and health care navigation. It’s demanding work, and Katie admits she has often felt on the edge of burnout.
