I’ve had the privilege of working closely with the leadership team of an organization that’s been committed to building a culture of coaching and connection. That work isn’t just theoretical. It shows up in how they treat each other. Recently, it has shown up in how they treat me – not just as a coach, but as a valued member of their tribe.

For Katie Pierce, leadership coaching came at just the right time. As settlement supervisor, she oversees a team of 10 staff supporting newcomer clients through case management and health care navigation. It’s demanding work, and Katie admits she has often felt on the edge of burnout.

The leadership coaching wasn’t about learning new tools, she adds: “It was about uncovering parts of myself I hadn’t fully recognized, reframing challenges, and refining what was already there.”
