Dave is truly passionate about coaching. When you meet Dave for the first time you will be drawn into his enthusiasm for helping people from all walks of life. He thrives on challenging people to be bold, to take risks and to realize their biggest dreams. This philosophy guided Dave as a competitive hockey player and has served him well throughout his career.
The Entrepreneur
Dave is all about being authentic, compassionate and courageous. He began his career as a counsellor helping young offenders and youth with special needs. An entrepreneur to the core, Dave co-founded Profiles Global (Atlantic) Inc. in 2000. Profiles Global is a human resource consulting firm specializing in behavioural assessments in the workplace. Dave was intrigued when his clients repeatedly asked about executive coaching and proceeded to earn his Executive Coaching Certificate (CEC) from Royal Roads University in Victoria, Canada.
The Coach
In 2005, Dave founded Vision Coaching Inc. which now boasts a roster of amazing coaches who share Dave’s vision and passion for coaching leaders one-on-one or in teams. In 2008, Vision Coaching earned the Board of Trade’s Outstanding Achievement Award in the “Emerging Enterprise” category. Dave is a board member of the International Coach Federation (New Brunswick chapter) and is regularly invited to speak to learners in the Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching Program at Royal Roads University, the University of New Brunswick’s MBA program as well as several local and national organizations. Vision Coaching clients range from entrepreneurs of small businesses to executives of multinational corporations, from a wide range of industries across North America, Europe and Asia. Dave has a special interest in coaching lawyers and has also coached a variety of established and emerging leaders in private and public sector organizations such as: Xerox, RCI/Wyndham, University of New Brunswick, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Government of New Brunswick and Atlantic Wholesalers. Originally from the Yukon, Dave now resides in southern New Brunswick with his wife and children.
